David Hayter is a Canadian-American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. He is best known as the English-language voice of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear video game series. Hayter wrote the screenplays for X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), and Watchmen (2009), earning a Saturn Award for Best Writing in 2000 for X-Men.
